Bug Description

GlassFish v3 is the next major release of the GlassFish Application Server and is currently under development by the GlassFish Community. GlassFish v3 has a modular, lightweight, extensible architecture. The goals are to provide the following:
    * An open, modular, extensible platform
    * A fast, easy, reliable application server
    * An enterprise-ready application server with massive scalability and sophisticated administration
    * Product updates and add-ons through the industry-strength Update Center 2.0
    * Support for OSGi
    * Support for dynamic languages such as Ruby and Groovy
    * Support for Java EE 6

Notes: This package will require a modified version of maven so that the build will not have to do anything over the network and so that the build will be reproducible.

The final v3 release was last month, is there any chance we get it packaged for Ubuntu 10.04 ? The wiki page was not updated since January 2009...

We are still resolving GlassFish source dependencies. Hopefully, this will be complete by April. Therefore, I don't think this will be going in 10.04.
