Bug Description
Binary package hint: gcalctool
Trying to use the biteditor in the gcalctool, after clicking on the second bit (any pattern) the calculator will crash.
Trailing Zeros must be enabled for this crash to occur.
To Reproduce:
-Launch gcalctool
-Enable Scientific Mode
-Switch to Binary Mode
-Enable Trailing Zeros
-Enable bit editor
-Switch more than 2 bits
There are a few other methods to reproduce this bug, but the bug can be reproduced by switching the options in a way so that gcalctool allows for the bit editor to be active while trailing zeros are enabled. This seems to cause the crash to occur every time.
Must be a bug with the bit editor too, because the bit editor won't be enabled with trailing zeros enabled, until you close and open the calculator and switch the Trailing Zero state. Output from the terminal is listed below.
[tom@tom-laptop:~]$ gcalctool (02-05 09:13)
