Description:
Navigation sidebar in Kate is gone although it is enabled in "Window" menu (see screenshot).

Sorry, you can close the bug!
Problem was that my old default session has not been opened at startup. That's why there was no navigation area in the sidebar. When opening the default or a new session, sidebar is there again. Seems that default behavior was changed in newest Kate.
