X problem - corruption of graphics

Bug Description

Hello,

Every time when I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 some lines have appeared on the screen.

Althought doesn't affect the OS something is not working good and this problem must to be fixed.
That lines in the screen have happened suddenly and it's attached the file that have this screen problem. Moreover I was adviced to attach the following files:

Xorg.0.log
xorg.conf
lspci-vvnn.log

test if it still occurs on Lucid?

We're closing this bug since it is has been some time with no response from the original reporter. However, if the issue still exists please feel free to reopen with the requested information. Also, if you could, please test against the latest development version of Ubuntu, since this confirms the bug is one we may be able to pass upstream for help.

Hi Bruce, sorry for the unanswer the comment, but I've been occupied a lot with the Msc.

Well, the problem was fixed in the Jaunty, but in the Karmic it cames up again. So I'm still using the Jaunty version. As soon as possible I'll install ubuntu 10.4 and report in case of the problem persist to.
