Bug Description

OS: Intrepid - 2.6.27-11-generic

Description: Connect to a password protected webdav (http) repository, using the 'connect to server' dialog gives the following error: "Error: HTTP Error: Moved Permanently Please select another viewer and try again."

It should work, since Firefox and cadaver both work fine. If you use the "dav://servername.com/folder" link, you will be asked for a username and a password and it works fine.

I can confirm this.

What's happening when you are connecting to webdav share using "Connect to server" dialog is that the path /folder is sent to the server. This is no matter if you specify /folder or /folder/.

When your server is getting the /folder (without trailing slash) it sends a http 301 respons, pointing towards /folder/ (adding the trailing slash). This doesn't seem to be catched and handled properly.
