Audio file search feature is too slow !

Binary package hint: brasero

Hi, after the new brasero's update there are another bug who's making audio CD burning very complicated !

Indeed, if I select Music folder a window asking me if I want to search for audio files inside the directory?, yes I do, but the searching process is very very very slow while I have only 10 music files !!

after which brasero update? there's no update on brasero recently at least not for intrepid.

ok you're using a backported version not an update. could you get a brasero log? just run brasero as : brasero --debug &> brasero-debug.txt perform the operation to reproduce the behavior and attach the resulting file to the report, thanks in advance.

could you try if that's still an issue in jaunty? the bug should be sent to GNOME by somebody having the issue

Thanks for the report Akdo , It has been a long time without any comment or a duplicate in this bug report and It is possible that the bug has been fixed. May you please try to reproduce it with the latest Stable Release of Ubuntu the Natty Narwhal and add the respective comments to the report?
