Lightning Not working

Binary package hint: thunderbird

Lightning is not working. Can't create new calendar or events. Different views not working such as multiweek month etc
Using Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex and Thunderbird 2.0.0.19... Lightning version is 0.9

I have 3 Icons displayed under folder view.
Mail - Calender - task

After clicking on calender icon I get following error in error console

None of the Lightning Add on functionality is working.
Can not read the meetings request.
can not create new events
can not create new tasks

I have
Mozilla Firefox version 3.0.6
Mozilla Thunderbird Version 2.0.0.19 (20090105)
Ubuntu Ubuntu 8.10 - the Intrepid Ibex
Lightning Version 0.9 (build 2008091718)

Also found below given error in error console.

When I checked the timezone tab inside Preference box on lightning tab

We do not yet support 0.9 outside of Jaunty since we havent had aalot of time to test it in pre Jaunty yet.

The Tzdata files just got updated - could that be the problem?

Yes i havent looked too deep into this but yes there is a good chance that is the problem, You need to file bug upstream to let Mozilla know there is a problem
