Bug Description

Harvest is one of the earlier and most powerful search engines for Linux.
I have been using it for 13 years on Slackware / Redhat.

http://harvest.sourceforge.net/

harvest-1.8.3 is the stable version.

I get errors compiling it on ubuntu 8.10.

Details:
1. ./configure finishes with no errors after installing bison and flex
2. make crashes when compiling "collector.c"

Harvest is not a package yet, but comes as tar.gz file.

Having a package would be great.
I will do whatever I can to test / help. Please contact me.

Best,
Oori.

Forgot to mention licensing is GPL, and it would need packaging.
