Bug Description
See attached "troubleshoot.txt" file.
Some PDF files will not print at all. These files originate from a single source/client. Printer is working fine otherwise.
Occurs whether using Evince viewer or Adobe PDF reader.
To post a comment you must log in.
First, you say that PDFs from a single source/client do not print. So the problem seems to be specific to trhe PDFs. Can you attach some sample PDFs?
Second, you did the troubleshoot test with the test page and not with one of the PDFs. One can see in it that the job (of the test page) was finished successfully. This does not help. If the troubleshooting wizard asks you for doing a test job, print one of the PDFs which cause the problem. Wait until the job gets into "stopped" state or disappears from the queue. Then finish the wizard and attach the resulting file.
Third, before doing any further steps do a complete update, preferably with intrepid-proposed enabled, as we did a lot of bug fix updates on printing software and some of them are still under test and therefore in intrepid-proposed. Please see https:/ /wiki.ubuntu. com/Testing/ EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. If this solves your problem, tell us or better mark this bug as fixed.
