Bug Description
Dapper Flight 4, x86 install:
After checking the install cd (from the opening boot menu) and finding the cd is fine (I haven't checked with a dud cd), the screen returns to the "[!!] Configuring cdrom-checker-
check CD_ROM integrity?
<Yes> <No>
In the former case <Yes>, there isn't the possibility of checking a different cd (the drive is locked shut, at least on my laptop), and so it is just repeating what it has already done.
For <No>, the computer reboots (there is no warning of this).
I also found that, having completed one check, just pressing <return> on this menu does nothing; the tab key has to be used to choose the required option, even when the required option is <No> and is highlighted by default.
Suggested remedy:
After check is completed, screen offers choices of:
recheck cd
reboot

Just tested this with Dapper Flight 6 install CD and it happened to me too.
I'm using Acer Travelmate 3000 3004WTMi with external firewire DVD+RW drive "Acer" SlimType DVD RW SOSW-852S, boot parameters "noapic irqpoll".
