Bug Description

Binary package hint: gvfs

1.1.4-0ubuntu3 jaunty

I paired my nokia 6630 phone and I selected to browse files on the device. The device is empty (no files, no folders, neither hidden files)

I don't know where to find logs about gvfs, so I can't tell you further information now.

thank you for your bug report, that's an upstream issue and should be sent to bugzilla.gnome.org by somebody having the hardware to trigger the bug

Fixed in version 0.4.3 (will be out today).
Is it possible to upgrade the version for jaunty?

I released ods 0.4.3 (http://tadas.dailyda.com/blog/2009/02/08/obex-data-server-043/). Highly recommended update, however note that with USB support enabled, ods now depends on openobex 1.4 and libusb. New USB code is intented to be used in revised gvfs-obexftp backend.

I don't really know if the problem is of obex data server or gvfs, but
nautilus hangs a lot when browsing the phone...
What about you?

I've no bluetooth phone or other devices to try that but you can try to get a nautilus stacktrace during the hang to see where it's hanging

I reported a new bug (it's not nautilus fault: either gvfs or
obex-data-server, since the problem persists using the .gvfs directory
and a terminal)

Thanks and see you at the other bug!
