starting IrfanView under wine results in page fault

Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

I am running Ubuntu 8.04. I used Synaptic to install version 1.0.0 of wine, and used Wine to install
version 4.23 of Irfanview. As I expected from a user report at winehq.net, I had to pick up a DLL from my copy of Windows to get the installation to work, but it then completed without apparent problems.

I've tried starting Infanview from the GUI and from the terminal, using Windows XP and Windows 98. When I use the GUI, nothing happens. When I use the terminal, the I get the error messages below.

It looks like this has been fixed in the beta versions of Wine, as Irfanview now longer crashes on startup.
