Are you sure that it only crashes with adblock because the stack trace looks just like another VLC crash

I understand it seems odd (according to the backtrace). However, I'd done a couple of tests:

1) run FF in -safe-mode => nothing happened
2) run FF and disable Adblock Plus for that domain (http://www.ceskatelevize.cz/) => nothing happened
3) run FF with Adblock Plus enabled => every click on the links I'd mentioned before means crash and a core file.

I'm not confident this is a firefox issue as apposed to adblock issue. can you please post the output of apt-cache policy adblock-plus

Closing this task since i cant reproduce this issue in Ubuntu sing Ubuntu's package.

To install a program you would do it was you normally would using Ubuntu's archives in /etc/apt/sources.list. I suggest you open synaptic and serarcvh and use that to install packages. You not being able to install package fro Ubuntu arcive is not a firefox issue. Please reopen once you have removed the version of adblock-plus that you got from Mozilla plugins page and install Ubuntu's version and and tested to make sure it is reproducible
