[jaunty alpha 3 regression] touchpad mouse not working at all

Bug Description

Binary package hint: xorg

Was working a week or 2 ago, done fresh install with 31st Jan live CD amd64, and the mouse is completely gone - touchpad on Compaq Presario CQ50-110EM, also the sounds has disappeared, very strange.

Ditto for NC8000 on x86, touchpad and all four buttons are dead, "joypad" works.

On my AMD64 jaunty alpha 4 Touchpad Mouse not working too.
Mi Lapto: HP Pavilion dv6000.
uname -a : Linux ubuntu 2.6.28-6-generic #17-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jan 30 15:35:08 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux.
Running on live cd

The xserver-xorg-input-synaptics was not installed by default on Jaunty.
"sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-synaptics" solved it for me.

This resolved this for me too on Alpha-4 and Samsung NC-10

Going to mark this Fix Released as it seems to be fixed now, including on mine in Jaunty alpha 5.
