Bug Description
Binary package hint: firefox-3.0
When I try to access a webpage showing multiple <img>-tags with images from a directory that is .htaccess protected. My browser is flooded with authorization requests.
This makes the browser impossible to interact with, and the only solution is to kill the process.
In Firefox 2.x what happend was, that only one instance of the authorization box popped up. And if that was canceled, any other reference in that page, to a file that where protected by the same policy also were canceled.
In Firefox 3.x all the authorization boxes "stacks" and waits for an answer, thus making the browser inoperable.
