Bug Description

Binary package hint: compiz

If a window is snapped to the edge of a workspace, dragging another window to that edge doesn't flip the cube. The problem occurs also when a window is maximized and so is snapped to both edges. I have attached my compiz configuration.

Ubuntu version: Intrepid Ibex 32bit

I noticed this bug when I upgraded from Natty to Oneiric, however it has went away a few weeks, probably due to some update? I haven' been paying close attention, but I don't see it anymore.

This still affects precise - it looks like an interaction between the half maximise function of unity and the edge drag of the cube - the situation is broader than described in the original bug as no window can be dragged, even if it is not maximised and is the only window present.

It is also impossible to drag a selected window with ShiftCtrlAlt-Left or ShiftCtrlAlt-Right: the window is draged to the new workspace and then immediately returns to the workspace it came from. Note that dragging windows in spread workspaces is possible.
