Bug Description

The computer was configured to install automatically in background all the important security updates. So, after somedays I switch on the computer. Obviously some security updates were present, but not installed. So, I ran the Update manager. But, before checking for new uptades or proceeding to the installation, a notification appeared saying me that something went wrong. I submitted this report thereafter. It seems to be that the automatic installation of security updates tried to install the package linux-image-2.6.27-11-generic 2.6.27-11.24 but the installation failed due to a segmentation fault.
Thank, salut! If I can do anything else just let me know.

Hi rbertran,

Sorry for such a delayed response to a bug you reported a while ago. Can I ask if this is still an issue for you? I notice from your dmesg output attached here that you are indeed running the 2.6.27-11.24 kernel so it seems it did install correctly. Please let us know if the issue remains. Thanks.
