Bug Description

Binary package hint: screem

I installed Edubuntu 8.10 with the CD after installing and updating Ubuntu 8.10 on a Dell Inspiron 8200 (1.6GHz, 356MBram, NVidia video) laptop. Near the end of the Edubuntu install eth0 failed (cable yanked)(re-established eth0) so I kept trying using the Retry option in the Update Manager. Eventually screem was installed and appears to work okay.

I'm closing this bug since screem has been removed from Lucid for the following reasons:

RoQA; inactive maintainer, dead upstream, buggy, depends on deprecated libraries
