Kopete crashes when it doesn't receive a reply

Bug Description
Kopete crashes at startup without providing an error message.
On a hunch, I tried restarting dbus (/etc/init.d/dbus restart), had no effect.
If it absolutely must exit when it doesn't receive a reply, it should at least
provide the user with an error message, like the one printed in gdb, with
possible steps to fix it.
I'm attaching the gdb backtrace.

This crash seems to be a symbol mismatch, which was common in the earlier alphas.
The not replying thing was DBus saying that kopete crashed.
