Caps lock doesn't work in initramfs environment

Bug Description

Binary package hint: busybox

While using the initramfs environment, a user can't press caps lock and have it take effect.

This is troublesome if the user is trying to accept a string of input from usplash that is all caps lock letters.

Using showkey in initramfs (with kernel command line break=bottom) shows that the keycode is recognized (as keycode 58). It just doesn't do anything.

It's possible that you were running into bug 130444. Try upgrading to console-setup 1.25ubuntu4 from intrepid-updates?

Yup, I just did a fresh 8.10 install and *only* updated console-setup. That fixes it. Thanks!
