Bug Description
Binary package hint: vinagre
vinagre in Jaunty no longer shows locally-shared desktops. In Intrepid, any local Ubuntu computers show up in both vinagre's bookmarks menu and sidebar under 'Hosts Nearby' with names like "So-and-so's remote desktop on <computer-name>".

(Intrepid's version of vinagre is currently 2.24.1-0ubuntu1.1.)

The --enable-avahi configure arg is disabling it (!). Removing that from debian/rules reenables avahi.
