Bug Description

Binary package hint: gscan2pdf

When trying to install gscan2pdf on Jaunty Alpha 3 the message 'gscan2pdf:
 Depends: libsane-perl but it is not installable' appears, although it doesn't appear on the list of other files to be installed.

I have Intrepid on my main partition where gscan2pdf works flawlessly.

Where are you trying to install it from? Universe? The gscan2pdf ppa?

I'm trying to install it from Ubuntu's Jaunty's repo. http://packages.ubuntu.com/jaunty/gscan2pdf

gscan2pdf will not upgrade because libsane-perl is not available.

libsane-perl is available in debian unstable http://packages.debian.org/sid/libsane-perl

But you already knew that, Jeffrey :)
