Thunderbird isn't receiving new messages & my old messages are also automatically gone, new account additiion is not simple also.

Bug Description

Binary package hint: thunderbird

I added my first email account easily there wasn't any problem doing that also i downloaded my all messages which were on sever but when i tried to add my another e mail account first it wasn't adding the without any error & then when i got it added somehow all my previous messages on my first account which i have downloaded got deleted or missig since then, Now a new problem is coming that thunderbird isn't recieving any of the new messages which are coming. So please see to it.

Hello Tarun.
Thanks for submitting this bug and reporting a problem with Thunderbird.

You made this bug report in 2009 regarding Thunderbird and there have been several versions of Thunderbird since then.

Could you confirm that this is no longer a problem and that we can close the ticket? Or, if it is still a problem, could you come to Launchpad and make a comment to that effect?
