Bug Description

I encountered the strange repeating sound problem with ubuntu 8.10 on my HP Pavillion DV4T machine. But that problem is now gone somehow. However I am not hearing any sound now.

Hi Abhishek,

Can you test the most recent pre-release of Jaunty 9.04 (currently Alpha3) - http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/releases/jaunty/ . It would be nice to know if this issue still exists there. You should be able to test via a LiveCD. Please let us know your results. Thanks.
