Bug Description
Amarok API for NowPlaying and other applet is still based on Amarok 1.x API. It need to be update to Amarok 2.x as Amarok 1.X and his bindings will be depreciated by upstream and not shipped by distributions.

There are two interfaces for Amarok in the latest version of the code. One for Amarok 1 and one for Amarok 2. Either this was recently added and you need to update your version, or someone has recently updated the code and hasn't already responded to this bug report
