an update broke my printing configuration

Bug Description

Hello,

After updating Ubuntu 8.04.2 hardy, my printer didn't work (status not active).

Model: HP Deskjet 920c

I had to delete the existing printer configuration and install again my printer.

This is annoying because the main users of this computer (my parents) begin to tell Linux isn't easy to use, thus they may buy a Vista box.

Please don't provide updates which break the configuration on the long term support version.

Thanks.

Regards.
