Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdewebdev

System: Ubuntu Intrepid
Quanta 3.5.10

When you are editing a html file and write "&a", an autocomplete menu appears. If you select in the autocomplete menu "à", in the html document appears "&agrve;" instead of the html entity "&agrave".

That was also reported on

The autocomplete suggestion for html entities is a great feature.
I found a small typo:

If I write "&a" and I select "agrave" it writes "&agrve;" instead of "à".
If I add another letter, writing "&ag" the list proposes "agrave" and the behaviour is correct, it writes "à"

Feel free to close this bug, as Quanta has been largely superseded by kdevelop

Dear users,

the Quanta application ceased to exist over 5 years ago. For some of the use cases of Quanta there are nowadays KDevPlatform plugins available (like PHP/Python/... language support plugins).

Therefore the old Quanta bugs will now be closed, the Quanta bugzilla product is already closed for new reports.

Greetings
Christoph
