Bug Description

During system update (had not been updated for about 75 days) configuration, a menu appears listing options for the update of menu.lst Selected the option for experimental merge and clicked on forward. Then received error message refering to failure of install of updated kernel (did not note which version-presume info is in bug report) and request for submission of bug to launchpad. Suggestion - keep error message on screen for review after user has clicked on the report bug option. I did not expect to have to have to manually write down exact message before clicking submit.
