Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnomescan

With my HP F380 I can scan fine in XSane. However GnomeScan doesnt detect my printer/scanner at all and closes with "invalid parameter" during search.

I didn't mention that I using Jaunty with the AMD64 architecture.

I realized this only happens when my webcam is plugged in. I think gnomescan wants to use my cam as a scanner? :P

Hi,

Comment out the "v4l" line in /etc/sane.d/dll.conf

Kai, does this work correctly now without any manual configuration in Lucid or Maverick?
