Bug Description

Binary package hint: kmymoney2-plugin-aqbanking

I use SCM SCR 335 cardreader in windows without any problem.

If I try in UBUNTU 8.10 and kmymoney (HBCI) it did not work.

Somebody told me, if therre is no problem with windows it will be a probelm of UBUNTU not kmymoney

What exactly did you try? Do you have the libchipcard packages installed?

You need libchipcard. It is the only interface kmymoney2 with online banking support enabled is able to access chipcards.

libchipcard is installed - but error -103 is still there
I suppose SCR335 is not supported

What is the output of the command "chipcard-tool list"? (package libchipcard-tools)
What version of libchipcard do you have installed?

Version is 4.2.4
after installing libchipcard SCR335 is not more visible if I use devmanager also the scr3335 is
no more present at the system as there is no lighten LED.

I learned somthing about UNIX 10 years ago so I am not excelent familiar:

the chipcard-tool list cmd I use in the terminal mode - but there is no tool

If I molest you with too silly problems - causing lack of experience - I will try
something myself.

This tool is part of the package libchipcard-tools. Do you have this
package installed on your system?

Hi,

I have installed libchipcard-tools,

in the past I used learning by doing and it worked fine with windows

about 10 years ago I played with UNIX - to become familiar with LINUX I require to do the same.

But it is tedious to try all the commands: how it is possble to access lipchicard-tools?

As I analyzed there is no support ror SCM SCR335

Hi,

When installed the package libchipcard-tools, simply execute the command "chipcard-tool list" in a shell (terminal mode).

Libchipcard should be able to handle your device (SCM SCR335) if used in PC/SC interface mode. It is supported by pcscd: http://pcsclite.alioth.debian.org/supported.html#0x04E60x5115

To make use of your reader you have to install pcscd and follow the pcscd instructions to get your reader working. Afterwards edit the file /etc/chipcard/client/chipcardc.conf and insert the following line near the top:

char resmgr="pcsc"

Afterwards you should be able to get your chipcard reader running with chipcard-tools and other applications making use of libchipcard.

This is rather a configuration issue than a bug. Hence I convert it to a question.
