Kontact crash when entering birhdays in Contacts

Bug Description

I run Kubuntu Jaunty RC1 ( kde 4.2 RC1 )with latest updates. When I enter a birthday in any contact, Kontact crashes.

It seems the contact part of Kontcat using Akonadi is very unstable. It also crashed when I imported contacts from a vcard and it shows 3 akonadi crash screens when booting up saying akonadi crashed the vcard resource.

This error must be fixed before release of kde 4.2 in a week because it makes the system unusable.
See attachement.
Let me know if you need more information and what I should do to assist.

This bug seems to have disappeared with newer KDE packages. I have tried this with 64-bit Kubuntu Jaunty updated to current package set at March 19th, and have been unable to reproduce the crash. If the problem still exists, please reopen the bug and I will have another look at this.

If you do have the problem, please add a bit more information: What akonadi resource type is this - file, imap, ...? 32 or 64 bit? kontact, kaddressbook, kdepimlibs and libqt package version numbers... This way we can more precisely match the problem you see.
