Bug Description

Basically, sloppy focus, clicking on anything within the interface, etc. cease to work. I am not sure what could be the cause. It also seems to have become more common now that I am running KDE 4.1.4 and the rest of the pre-released updates. The details of my system are:
KDE 4.1.4
Logitech MX500
Applications in use:
GNU Emacs 23.0.60.1
Konsole 2.1
Kontact 1.3
KRDC 4.1.4
Opera 9.63

To fix the system, I re-log.

My user is a NIS user with an NFS mounted home directory.

All of the applications work and I can interface with them using the keyboard.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
