Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager
Since the 0.7.0 included in intrepid, I have been unable to connect to a WPA2 Enterprise/PEAP network, and others have reported not being able to connect to other types of WPA/WPA2 Enterprise networks. The option to enter a user certificate has been removed, and others are reporting that they are being dropped back at the authentication screen. There are corresponding bugs in upstream and Red Hat bugzilla here:

The bug seems to have been fixed in the Red Hat bugzilla, and probably also upstream, so the question is whether the fix has been included in Ubuntu yet? And is there someone who is willing to take the time to package a patched version for intrepid (fixing this blocking problem for everyone using http://

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot begin to fix this without some additional information. Could you please post the output of the command "apt-cache policy network-manager" (without the quotes). To run this command, open a Terminal (Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal), enter the command there, and push Enter. Copy the resulting text and paste it here. Thanks in advance.
