Bug Description

It's seems to be detected on booting up, but it's nowhere to be seen in the bluez tool. I found this out from diggin through the system log. I can provide any info where needed.

This is a bit of a security problem, since I can't lock the laptop with my bluetooth phone (blue proximity).

Can you run `hcitool dev` and confirm there's no identification of the device?

Can mark this bug as solved. Although it was said that my laptop has bluetooth when I bought it, I contacted HP. It doesn't. When I replace the network card to get it, then I'll see if the bluetooth works.

Changed in bluez (Ubuntu):
status: Incomplete → Invalid
