The install was attempted in virtualbox. I began the install and the progress bar was on the screen, I walked away and came back and the full desktop had loaded and told me that there was a crash.
I clicked send report and apport tried to send me to /ubuntu/

Looking through the logs it appears to be caused by my selection of 'Require password to login and decrypt home partition'
UbiquitySyslog: 850ish: add-passphrase: error while loading shared libraries: libecryptfs.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory ecryptfs- setup-private -b -u dereck' returned error code 1. Exiting.
