Included on the page is "It has been decided not to include a page asking for the computer name in the installer, for several reasons."

It is not included in the mockups on that page. In the discussion section is the image of the page that was intentionally left out.

Yeah, I know; I just haven't got round to removing it from the code inherited from Guadalinex yet. It's on the to-do list (https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuExpress/ToDo).

We decided (by appealing to Mark for a final decision) at the UI sprint that we would keep the hostname question for Dapper (bear in mind that that's the conservative option, which is the general theme of Dapper apart from little things like adding Espresso!). The technical issues involved in removing this question are too complicated to sort out in time for Dapper.
