Bug Description
Often I find myself copying a text block, pressing F8 to switch to text mode and then reaching for ctrl-a to select all text and start typing. Pressing F8 twice to select all text would be a neat and time-saving feature (for me at least).

I don't know how useful this might be for the average Joe (personally I prefer to still use CTRL+A for selecting all, because function keys change to the tool but do not act on the objects themselves), so the only thing I can do is set this as a wish-list.
