Window header disappears in Gnome (since: 8.10)

Bug Description

After upgrading to Ubuntu 8.10 (x86) I encountered problems with headers of the windows in gnome (the path on top of the window where you have the program's name and minimize, resize and close buttons). The header suddenly becomes white (instead of brown color in default Gnome theme for Ubuntu). This usually happens after you change the window focus. To get the colors back you have to resize the window.

I tried also installing packages from "proposed" hoping that this will fix the error. It didn't help.

Additional info: I have observed this error on several machines, and I have never seen this in 8.04. Therefore I assume that this was introduced in 8.10. This might also be a Gnome problem in general...

Are you using the Nvidia proprietary drivers? If you're not sure, then please attach your /var/log/Xorg.0.log. If you are, then that is a will known and much reported bug with the Nvidia driver
