Bug Description
Hi, for some reason, ubuntu doesn't like to work properly with my intergrated intel sound card, when i plug my speakers into the jacks at the back of my PC, no sound comes from the speakers, and the internal speaker is used, and when i plug the speakers into the front, BOTH the external (pluh-in) and internal speakers play the sound!
when i go to System > Preferences > Sound, my sound card does show up, but for some reason, it won't play through the speakers i've connected. (and it's nothing wrong with the speakers, they work fine in Windows when plugged into the back and front jacks)
Version I'm using: 8.10. (Intrepid Ibex)
