Bug Description

With a heavyweight checkout, running bzr vis connects to the server and prompts for my password (I'm using bzr+ssh). This is totally unnecessary, because everything bzr vis needs is local. To illustrate, doing bzr unbind then running bzr vis works perfectly.

bzr viz doesn't by itself talk to the master branch, so this is most
likely some call in the bzr API that causes talk to the master branch.

  affects bzr

I checked with the latest bzr revision of bzr.dev, bzr-gtk, and QBzr:

This happens with "bzr vis" from bzr-gtk, but not with "bzr qlog" from QBzr. So it may be something that bzr is doing internally, but whatever it is, bzr vis triggers it, and bzr qlog doesn't.
