Firefox crashes randomly

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

Firefox crashes randomly, not related to flash at all. It happens on google reader pages, forums, it's just too random to pinpoint.
I recreated a new profile from scratch but it still does that.
I don't know what's making it crash, when running from the console, it just says "Aborted" and it crashes.

I can confirm this with Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121623 Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.5. I'm running Ubuntu (gnome) 8.10 64-bit.

Executing from the terminal I get only the messages "segfault" or "aborted" when FF crashes.

Everyone: If you can reproduce this use Apport to file the bug so we have most of the info that we need. Also on new bug reports list all plugins and extensions you have installed with versions would be nice. Thanks

Bug affects me too. All up to date, Firefox 3.0.11
