Bug Description
gimp 2.6.1-1ubuntu3, Ubuntu 8.10
To duplicate...
* Open a samba or windows share in nautilus
* save a file into the share with gimp (creating the file works)
* Edit the file and save again, this time it'll say "file exists"
I've tried this with a vista share and a samba share and an ssh share so it's not a permission issue with the share, and it works fine with local files. It's not a problem with gvfs because I can overwrite files with other programs like gedit.
Once the file is deleted you can save to it again so creating a file works.
Thanks.
This bug is fixed in version 2.6.4, just updated in Jaunty. Please test for confirmation.
