every time i bring up movie player (not mplayer movie player) it makes this awful popping noise. the same thing happens when i open amarok.

every time i bring up movie player (not mplayer movie player) it makes this awful popping noise. the same thing happens when i open amarok. it doesn't happen with any other sound/movie applications.

if the same happens with amarok then that's not a totem issue. what noise do you hear?a cracking ?
