Ok im confused. Did someone on this bug change the upstream status to confirmed on the LP bug? The upstream bug is still set as NEW. I'm demoting this to confirmed until upstream changes status on the bug.

Launchpad did it itself. Is that a bug in LP? Maybe it's just
confirming there's an issue upstream?
