Bug Description
After updates of Feb 17th

Screen is garbled with white characters.
Sometimes hangs or completes boot of default.
Removing 'quite splash' from menu.lst boot line did not help.

I noticed that each distro is trying to commericalize the menu.lst and may be inteferring with each others efforts.
Leave grub menu.lst just black & white so it works for all systems. Thank you,
