Bug Description

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu jaunty (development branch)
Release: 9.04
Codename: jaunty

Linux ubuntu 2.6.28-4-generic #10-Ubuntu SMP Mon Jan 12 20:05:48 UTC 2009 x86_64 GNU/Linux

When installing mythbuntu alpha3, I got to the "Prepare disk space" section of the installer, selected the "custom" option and clicked [Forward]. An error message appeared saying that partman had failed with exit code 141.

Partman Crashed
Partman failed with exit code 141. Further information may be found in
/var/log/syslog. Do you want to try running this step again before
continuing? If you do not, your installation may fail entirely or may
be broken.

As shown in the attached screenshot, it appears there is also a problem with the options being presented on the screen.

There appears to be a traceback in the file var-log-installer-debug.txt

i think this bug is a duplicate of bug 318564

it appears to be something with translation, so if you choose any other translation than allready generated by locale-gen, then rerun "sudo locale-gen [your language, smth. like en,de,fr]" and then try the installer again
