Bug Description

Binary package hint: sshmenu-gnome

1) Release: 8.04

2) sshmenu-gnome:
  Installed: 3.15-1
  Candidate: 3.15-1
  Version table:
 *** 3.15-1 0
        500 http://de.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/universe Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

3) This is only a menu applet and should not consume big ammounts of energy.

4) While running `powertop` i encountered the following result (while the laptop was idle):

  26.3% ( 98.2) sshmenu-applet : do_nanosleep (hrtimer_wakeup)
  16.3% ( 61.0) <interrupt> : uhci_hcd:usb3, yenta, nvidia
  11.9% ( 44.3) <interrupt> : acpi
  11.3% ( 42.4) <interrupt> : extra timer interrupt
   7.4% ( 27.7) firefox : futex_wait (hrtimer_wakeup)
   5.5% ( 20.4) compiz.real : schedule_timeout (process_timeout)
   5.2% ( 19.3) <kernel IPI> : Rescheduling interrupts
   3.5% ( 13.2) psi : schedule_timeout (process_timeout)
   3.3% ( 12.2) <interrupt> : libata
   3.2% ( 11.8) <interrupt> : iwl4965

I wish this application would consume less energy, as this would greatly improve my battery performance.

KR,
Harald
