Bug Description

Hello!
I would like to report a bug in the web environment Ubuntu Linux 5.10.
Upon clicking "Network Environment", the correct response would be to be shown all the machines in my network, and when i click on the desired machine, then the correct would be to be asked to furnish the username and password. In Ubuntu, the software continues to request the password of each machine before i click on the machine i wish to access. I would like, if possible, to see this bug corrected in the next version of Ubuntu, because it seems to me an elementary error for an otherwise perfect distribution system as Ubuntu Linux indeed is.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
