Bug Description

I killed the panel with "killall gnome-panel". The panel restarted and gaim handled it all well, but banshee crashed.
I understand killing the panel is something which I just should not do (But actually I had a reason - I think) and the death of banshee was not expected. Banshee should be able to handle the situation if the panel for some reason dies. Since gaim actually does handle it well, I thought I should report it. Not sure if its more suitebel to have it hear or in upstream.

i can confirm this... but this happens for many packages using the notification-area. I'll tell banshee upstream about it
