Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox-3.0

My system,
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.5) Gecko/2008121622 Ubuntu/8.10 (intrepid) Firefox/3.0.5

http://www.hydeleague.com/

I'm using gnome desktop
The page above seems to display well enough however when you click on the shield which is the link to the next page the progress bar reaches about 2/3 but nothing happens. I have tried sea-monkey also with no luck. Both apps work fine in XP though behave as badly when I use XP in 'Sun xVM Virtualbox'. I've just tried with Konqueror and it came to a blank page when I hit reload amazing! The page loaded correctly as did all subsequent pages.

firefox:
  Installed: 3.0.5+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.10.1
  Candidate: 3.0.5+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.8.10.1
  Version table:

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the report. Tried to click on the shield on mentioned page and do not face any problems. I am redirected to http://full-time.thefa.com/Index.do?selectedSeason=6903169&selectedDivision=3532265.

Please try to clear your Firefox profile. As I remember it is located in .mozilla folder in your home directory. Please also make sure that you don't have any extensions installed.

Marking this bug as invalid until above have been tried.

I am also unable to reproduce this. Please update to 3.0.7 from the repos and run it with the following command
firefox-3.0 --safe-mode
That should alolow you to view it normally. I'm betting this is an extension problem but i would need a list of them from you to make sure.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
